It’s reported both Rangers and Celtic could be fined after Sunday’s Old Firm game, with Scott Brown also facing potential disciplinary action.
The Hoops took a 2-1 victory at Celtic Park to move 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership, but the game featured a number of flashpoints.
Alfredo Morelos was sent off for an elbow on Brown, with Kent later escaping punishment for striking the Celtic midfielder in the face.
After the final whistle Brown was seen goading the away support, with Andy Halliday receiving a second yellow card for confronting him.
According to this morning’s Scottish Sun, both teams are facing a fine of £10,000 for failing to control their players, with the SFA to look at television evidence.
And the Daily Record reports that both Kent and Brown could be cited, with the former likely to be given a two game ban for violent conduct.
The Celtic skipper could also be given a disciplinary referral for his actions at the end of the game, but he’d still be available for St Mirren on Wednesday as the hearing wouldn’t be until later.
Kent faces a fast-track notice of complaint, and it’s expected he’ll be offered a two game ban today.
